Nick Whelan is a Senior Associate at BG Strategic Advisors, where he supports M&A advisory engagements across the firm’s core verticals. Nick contributes to all phases of the deal process, including strategic positioning, due diligence, and transaction execution.

Prior to joining BGSA, Nick served as a Senior Associate at a middle-market investment bank, where he led both buy-side and sell-side M&A engagements for clients across infrastructure, technology, and other sectors. He played a central role in several of the firm’s most significant transactions to date and was appointed to a lead role in its Boston, MA office.

Nick is a U.S. Army veteran and former non-commissioned officer, having earned multiple awards and recognitions for his leadership and performance.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University, where he graduated summa cum laude and was named Valedictorian of the College of Business.
