Marcel L. Jané joined BG Strategic Advisors in 2024 as a Senior Associate, bringing extensive experience in private equity and investment banking. He is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, conducting comprehensive industry research, and managing third-party advisors. Marcel’s proven ability to formulate investment theses and perform financial analysis enhances the firm’s capabilities in structuring deals and guiding client negotiations. He is actively involved in all aspects of due diligence and execution.

Prior to BGSA, Marcel served as a Private Equity Associate at H.I.G. Capital, where he played a key role in executing various transactions. He also worked as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Consumer Retail Group at Goldman Sachs, contributing to notable transactions, including the sale of Wahoo Fitness and the IPO of First Watch Restaurant Group. Marcel began his career as a Summer Analyst at Amber Capital Investment Management in London, where he evaluated public equity opportunities in underinvested sectors across Europe.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree from University of North Carolina – Kenan-Flagler Business School.
