In 1948, Ben’s grandfather, Eugene Ribakoff, started AMI, one of the leading truck leasing, dedicated contract carriage, and logistics providers in the Northeast. AMI was in fact preceded by another family transportation business. In 1903, Ben’s great-great grandfather founded Morgenstern Express, a horse-and-buggy company based in New York. Hence, in 1999, when Ben founded 3PLex, a web-based transportation management system for the logistics sector, he was not just pursuing a vision, but also carrying on a long-standing family tradition.
Today, nearly two decades after Ben Gordon founded BGSA, the investment banking firm stands alone as the only M&A advisory services firm founded on the premise that we understand supply chain entrepreneurs, because we come from the same stock.
